Cedar Falls, Iowa--The University of Northern Iowa women's soccer team opens MVC action against Illinois State, this Saturday, Sept. 23 at 1 p.m.
The Panthers (7-1-1) were selected to finish fifth in a preseason poll. In matches last week, UNI won a thriller against Northern Illinois, on a game winning goal from Sarah Brandt. Former head coach Chris Logan and the North Dakota Fighting Hawks came to town on Sunday for a 1-1 draw.
Illinois State women's soccer team (3-4-2) is coming to game, having won their game on Sunday, defeating the Miami (Ohio) Redhawks, 1-0.
