CEDAR FALLS, Ia. — In what has already been a rigorous nonconference slate for the Northern Iowa women’s basketball team, its next test might be the most daunting.
In the Panthers’ final action before MVC play commences, UNI (6-4) will host Kansas State (10-1) at 7 p.m. Thursday inside the McLeod Center, marking the third Big 12 foe UNI has seen this season.
The Wildcats, slotted 14th in the latest NCAA RPI rankings, are the Panthers’ sixth top-100 RPI opponent this season, along with Oklahoma State (eighth), South Dakota State (43rd), Iowa (56th), Iowa State (97th) and Creighton (99th).
