WEST DES MOINES, Iowa --- Sophomore JD Pollard sank an eagle on the 9th hole in the second round as UNI men's golf opened play with the first two rounds of the Zach Johnson Invitational on Monday at the Glen Oaks Country Club.
UNI sits in 8th place in the 14 team field after carding a team score of 601, following a first round score of 309, and a 292 in the second round. North Dakota State holds a commanding lead in the team race after recording a 590 team score through the first two rounds, with Iowa State trailing by 11 strokes in 2nd place.
