ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) has released it's men's basketball pre-season poll for the 2018-19 season. The UNI Panthers were predicted to finish 5th by league sports information directors, members of the media and Missouri Valley coaches.
Loyola received the most first place votes with 29 and are predicted to win the MVC. Illinois State earned 10 first place votes, followed by Southern Illinois with 4 votes. Bradley was voted in the #4 spot with UNI following in fifth.
Indiana State tops the bottom half of the conference in sixth with Valparaiso following in seventh and Missouri State at eight.
