SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The University of Northern Iowa men's golf team is tied for sixth after the opening 36 holes of play at the 2016 Twin Oaks Intercollegiate hosted by Missouri State University.
The Panthers carded team scores of 302-300 (602) and trail the first-place Bears by 20 strokes after 36 holes. Missouri State scored rounds of 292-290 (582).
UNI's Dustin Atkinson is in sixth place after day one with rounds of 74-71 (145). Atkinson scored four birdies (No. 3, No. 4, No. 6, No. 17) in his opening 18 holes for a three-over 74.
