PEORIA, Ill. — Sure, it may be just a win over a Missouri Valley bottom-feeder, but Northern Iowa will take any victory it can get.
The Panthers snapped their four-game losing skid with a 68-50 triumph over Bradley on Wednesday at Carver Arena.
Northern Iowa evened its record at 11-11 and moved to 3-6 in the Valley, thanks to Paul Jesperson’s career-best 28 points and school record-tying eight 3-pointers. Northern Iowa made a season-best 15 triples on the night against Bradley (3-19, 1-8).
Junior Jeremy Morgan set a career-high with seven steals to go along with 10 points, three assists and two blocks.
