CEDAR FALLS, Ia. — Northern Iowa’s emotional trip last Saturday brought back more than just a coveted victory. There was perceived disrespect weaved in — and the Panthers sent a message throughout the FCS football world. Satisfaction in proving the FCS committee wrong permeated the bus ride back to Cedar Falls.
That all must fade now. Because the giant on deck doesn’t care about UNI’s status as a confident underdog looking for additional playoff shakeups.
