• UNI (24-9 overall, 14-4 Missouri Valley Conference) will take on the Creighton Bluejays (26-6 overall, 18-0 BIG EAST) Thursday at 4 p.m. (CT) in Lawrence, Kan., in the first round of the 2016 NCAA Tournament.

• No. 5-seeded Kansas will play Samford in the other matchup in Lawrence with the winners meeting Friday at 6:30 p.
