PEORIA, Ill. --- With the 2022 season beginning to wind down, UNI cross country took to the course at the Newman Golf Course on Friday afternoon, looking to build momentum ahead of the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Championships in two weeks time.
The Panther women finished 18th place in the large 42-team field with 519 points, while the men secured a 33rd place out of 35 teams tallying 864 points.
Emma Hoins led the Panther pack of ten runners in the field of 306 competitors in the 6K race, securing a top-100 finish in 85th place with a time of 21:54.
