CEDAR FALLS, Ia. — What was feared Tuesday night regarding Miles Wentzien is now officially official.
The Northern Iowa senior guard is out for the year after tearing his left ACL in UNI's 70-69 loss at Illinois State, a Panthers spokesperson confirmed to the Register hursday afternoon.
Wentzien suffered the tear during the second half Tuesday, just as he was starting to carve out a solid role in UNI's rotation.
