The Northern Iowa men's basketball program officially landed another Cedar Falls High School standout Friday afternoon, securing a commitment from 2022 recruit Trey Campbell. He announced the decision on Twitter.
Ranked as the Des Moines Register's No. 5 2022 prospect, Campbell shined last season in his first extensive varsity action. The 6-foot-4 standout averaged 13.9 points, five assists, 4.4 rebounds and 2.5 steals for a Cedar Falls squad that reached the Class 4A state semis. Those figures came while playing alongside future Panthers Landon Wolf and Chase Courbat.
