The Northern Iowa men’s basketball season was already off to a less-than-stellar start. Now, the Panthers are potentially dealing with even deeper issues.
Their superstar is not right on the health front. The question is now about the severity of AJ Green’s hip issue that his him sidelined for Friday’s home-opener and beyond.
“AJ is doing well. He is rehabbing with our trainer and gathering information,” Panthers coach Ben Jacobson said Friday in a news release, with the Panthers (0-3) set to host St. Ambrose at 6 p.m. “He has great support from his family, his teammates and our staff as we work through this process.
