CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – University of Northern Iowa Athletics is partnering with campus on Elevating Educators, a new initiative that seeks to recognize and elevate professional educators in Iowa, nationwide and throughout the world.
"UNI Athletics is excited to have an opportunity to partner with our campus community to honor professional educators," said David Harris, UNI director of athletics. "Elevating Educators is an initiative that will bring much needed attention to the important role that these men and women play in our society. This partnership allows us the chance to pay homage to our history as an institution while giving respect to educators across the world.
