ST. LOUIS, Mo. - True freshman Hannah Truniger has been named the MVC Cross Country Female Athlete of the Week, it was announced today by the league office.
Truniger, out of Watertown, Minn., led the UNI women to a third place finish overall out of 20 teams at the Bradley Classic. With her performance along with a strong team finish, the UNI women moved up to No. 9 in the Midwest Region this week.
Truniger placed 11th overall out of 267 runners in the women's 6K at the Bradley Classic. She came across the finish line in a time of 21:09.
