CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – UNI track and field picked up three of four Missouri Valley Conference Athlete of the Week honors, the conference announced Tuesday.
Patrice Watson was named the MVC Female Track Athlete of the Week and UNI swept the Make Athlete of the Week honors with Cam Bauer earning Male Field Athlete of the Week honors and C.J. May picking up Track Athlete of the Week honors.
Watson earned the honor after winning the 60-meter hurdles with a season-best time of 8.81. She beat athletes from the Big Ten, MAC and MVC in the final to earn the first-place finish.
