Sydney Eaton Leads MVC Championship After Day One

CHESTERTON, Indiana – Sophomore Sydney Eaton shot back to back rounds at even par to finish the first day of the MVC Women's Golf Championship in a tie for first place.

The UNI women's golf team finish the day in seventh place, 14 strokes behind tournament leader Drake.

Due to a weather cancelation on Sunday, golfers played 36 holes at the Sand Creek Country Club on Monday.

Sydney Eaton finished at even par on the opening 18 holes and finished the day at two over par to finish tied for the lead.
