ST.LOUIS – UNI's Sydney Eaton was named Golfer of the Week by the Missouri Valley Conference after two top 6 finishes at the Diane Thomason Invitational and the Creighton Classic.
The sophomore from Mason City, Iowa managed a sixth place finish at the Diane Thomason Invitation in Iowa City, Iowa. From Sept. 1-2 the golfers battled the weather, playing in cold and wet conditions. Eaton carded a first round 79, second round 79, and finished with a third round 73 to move her into a tie for sixth place.
The Panthers began play in the Creighton Classic at Oak Hills Country Club in Omaha, Nebraska on Oct.
