CEDAR FALLS, Iowa—The University of Northern Iowa women's swimming and diving team open the 2018-19 season with road meets against Nebraska-Omaha and Nebraska.
The Panthers will take on the Mavericks of Nebraska-Omaha at 5 pm on Oct. 5. The Panthers hosted the Mavericks in Cedar Falls last season, defeating them 189-111. Katie Taylor, Crystal Florman, Moriah Ross, and Izzy Bunchek were a few of the Panthers with first-place finishes last season.
The Panthers will take on the Cornhuskers of Nebraska at 1 pm on Oct. 6. Kylie Engstrom, Taylor, Ross, and Florman all had strong performances in the loss to Nebraska in Cedar Falls last season.
