CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa football team held its 11th practice of the spring on Wednesday, as the Panthers posted another successful day inside the UNI-Dome.
UNI was in full pads on Wednesday, with the Panthers holding a passionate session that featured a competitive drive on both sides of the ball. The Panthers took part in positional drills, before ending the day with a situational scrimmage.
The 2018 Panthers will return 26 players who made starts on offense and defense for UNI in 2017. Last year's squad earned an 8-5 record and defeated three Top-10 foes on its way to the program's 19th FCS Playoff berth.
