CHICAGO – Charleston Southern's Garris Schwarting, Northern Iowa's Spencer Cuvelier, James Madison's Ethan Ratke and Jackson State's Shedeur Sanders were named Monday as the Stats Perform FCS National Players of the Week for Week 2 games ending on Saturday.
In addition, Duquesne earned National FCS Team of the Week.
The five honorees plus honorable mention selections:

Garris Schwarting, Charleston Southern, WR, Grad, 5-10, 189, Bamberg, South Carolina
Schwarting had a hand in all five Charleston Southern touchdowns as the Buccaneers opened their season with a 38-21 win at crosstown rival The Citadel.
