CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The UNI softball program added the eighth member of its recruiting class on Wednesday, adding Iowa Central Community College standout Cheyenne Andersen.
Cheyenne earned all-conference honors playing for head coach Stacy Evans at Indianola High School before signing with the Trojans. Cheyenne spent the last two seasons at Iowa Central Community College playing for head coach Rick Sandquist. The Trojans finished the 2019 season 40-17 with a 16-11 record in the ICCAC.
Cheyenne earned First Team All-Region honors as a sophomore, finishing the season with a .411 batting average, .893 slugging percentage and a .
