ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Senior defensive end Karter Schult was named the MVFC Defensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week, it was announced by the league office.
Schult was key in UNI's win over #17 ranked Western Illinois on Saturday. He turned in one of the most complete games of the day, anchoring the defensive line that only allowed 96 rushing yards, the third game in the last four that UNI has held its opponent under 100 yards on the ground.
Schult racked up six total tackles, finishing with 4.
