Schult Named Finalist For William V. Campbell Trophy

NFF RELEASE
IRVING, Texas – University of Northern Iowa defensive end Karter Schult has been named a finalist for the 2016 William V. Campbell Trophy. The award recognizes an individual as the absolute best football scholar-athlete in the nation.

Schult is one of 12 finalists for the prestigious award and will receive a $18,000 postgraduate scholarship as a member of the National Football Foundation National Scholar-Athlete Class. He will get to travel to New York City for the 59th NFF Annual Awards Dinner on Dec. 6, where his accomplishments will be highlighted in front of one of the most powerful audiences in all of sports.
