EVANSVILLE, Indiana-- Senior Astrid Santos took first place at the Missouri Valley Conference Individual Championships today in Evansville.
Singles Action
Astrid Santos defeated Joely Lomas of Drake, 6-1, 6-3 to capture the Flight 3 singles title.
Savanna Hunt fell to Nicoli Pereira of Evansville, 1-6, 7-6 (3), 10-4 for a fourth place finish in the Flight 6 singles.
Doubles Action
The duo of Kemper/Hunt grabbed a fifth place finish in the Flight 3 doubles, defeating Jaglarz/Sogard of Drake, 8-7 (3).
