OKLAHOMA CITY – UNI's Sammey Bunch has been selected to the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Watch List as announced by the organization on Wednesday afternoon.
Bunch is a three time All-MVC selection and was named the MVC Player of the Year in 2019. Bunch recorded 51 runs, 50 RBIs, and 17 home runs on 62 hits a season ago. The senior shortstop also recorded a .972 fielding percentage with 92 put outs.
The USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award enters its 18th season and recognizes outstanding athletic achievement by Division I female collegiate softball players across the country.
