Men’s basketball player Robert Knar will transfer from Northern Iowa at the end of this semester, according to a news release issued by the school Wednesday.
A sophomore guard from Mundelein, Ill., Knar played in 12 games this past season as the Panthers won the Missouri Valley Conference tournament title and reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Knar appeared in 24 career games after missing the 2013-14 season following ACL surgery. He scored a career-high six points in UNI's 97-51 win at North Dakota on Nov. 30, 2015.
“We appreciate all of Rob's hard work and dedication to Panther basketball,” coach Ben Jacobson said in the release.
