CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - UNI Athletics has postponed the 2020 Rally in the Valley presented by Cedar Valley Dental Associates due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 12th-annual event was scheduled for April 18. The date for the rescheduled event has not been determined.
The health, safety, and wellbeing of UNI Athletics student-athletes, coaches, staff, donors, and fans, along with guidance from local and national health officials, have been at the forefront of the decision-making process. Recent directives from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Iowa Department of Public Health, regarding large gatherings make it clear that postponing the Rally in the Valley is necessary.
