EVANSVILLE, Ill. - The Evansville Purple Aces dealt the University of Northern Iowa men's basketball team its fourth straight loss with a 70-58 decision in the Ford Center.
UNI senior Jeremy Morgan eclipsed the 1,000 point mark in his career when he scored his first basket of the game with 11:56 left in the first half. Morgan led the Panthers with 16 points, six assists, four blocks and three steals. Morgan is the 41st UNI Panther to reach 1,000 career points.
Evansville (10-5 overall, 2-0 MVC) had four players in double figures led by Christian Benzon and Jaylon Brown, who each tallied 17 points.
