ST LOUIS -- For the seventh week in a row a member of UNI Softball's roster has been selected for weekly Missouri Valley Conference recognition.
Freshman catcher Alexis Pupillo is the MVC Newcomer of the Week for April 11 after a stellar performance against Indiana State. While on the road in Terre Haute, Pupillo has entered the Top 100 nationally in home runs on the season after adding two more to her resume against the Sycamores over the weekend.
Pupillo's home runs came in the same game and almost in the exact same spot at Price Field going to the right side of the scoreboard.
