DES MOINES, IOWA- UNI Women's Tennis closed out the Drake Invitational Sunday with Olivia Fain winning the D flight consolation draw championship 6-1, 6-4 over Omaha's Clare Crockett. She advanced to the title after dominating Wichita State's Tiffani Holman 6-0, 6-1 Saturday.
In Flight C, Valantina Caro advanced to the semifinals with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Omaha's Marie Kapelevich. She finished fourth after dropping her semifinal match and the third/fourth match.
Flight A, Harri Proudfoot fell in a hard-fought match in the consolation bracket 6-7(3), 6-3, 10-4.
The Panthers next travel to the Minnesota Gopher Invite on Sept.
