-For the first time in 14 years, the Panthers had a tie in their first game against a new opponent. UNI's 2OT tie against St. Thomas was the first tie to begin a series since 2007 against South Dakota.
- Panthers forward Ashely Harrington exploded for 4 shots at St. Thomas on Tuesday while having her lone shot in Sunday's game against Western Illinois go in for her second goal of the season.
