OMAHA, Neb. – The University of Northern Iowa women's golf team finished the first round of the Creighton Classic at the Oak Hills Country Club in Omaha, Nebraska on Monday.
The team is currently tied for fourth at the par-72 course, finishing the first round with a total score of 317.
Sophomore Sarah McMichael tied her lowest collegiate career round with a score of 78, ending the day tied for seventh overall. McMichael is currently six behind the leader, who's even, after having birdied three holes.
