CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — Kicking off another packed weekend of competition, UNI track and field begins the final week of April at America's Athletic Classic, the Drake Relays, beginning Wednesday at Drake Stadium in Des Moines.
The Panthers will begin their stint at the 113th running of the Drake Relays with the decathlon and heptathlon running Wednesday and Thursday. Five Panthers are slated to compete in the decathlon, including Carter Morton, who surpassed 7,000 points in his last decathlon at the Bryan Clay Invitational two weeks ago. Drew Bartels, Zack Butcher, Brody Lovell and Caden Ungs will also compete in the ten-event competition.
