Panthers Swim Past The Redbirds

Results

Normal, Illinois—The University of Northern Iowa's women's swimming and diving team swam past MVC opponent Illinois State, 156-144.

This was the first win for the Panther squad over Illinois State since the 2004-05 season.

Senior Taylor Ostrowski won the 200 Butterfly with a time of 2:09.24. Ostrowski has never lost in a dual meet against the Redbirds.

Veronica Herrmann took first place in the 100 and 200 Breaststroke events. She swam to a time of 1:05.36 in the 100 and a time of 2:22.96 in the 200.

Molly Lembezeder continued to dominate in the pool.
