CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The UNI women's tennis team hits the road for a pair of matches against Illinois State and Bradley this weekend. The Purple and Gold are slated to face Illinois State on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Normal, Ill. before heading to Peoria, Ill. to take on Bradley at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
Last time out, the Panthers fell, 5-2, to Valparaiso at the Black Hawk Tennis Club in Waterloo, Iowa. In doubles action, sophomore Thaissa Moreira/senior Valentina Caro defeated Amanda Tabanera/Isabelle Schoolcraft, 6-4, on the No. 2 court.
