CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - Former defensive back and UNI standout Deiondre' Hall notched his first career interception as a professional football player in the third week of preseason play in the NFL on Saturday.
Hall, who ranks No. 5 all-time at UNI in career interceptions and has the school record in career pick-sixes, intercepted a pass from Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Aaron Murray and returned it eight yards. The former Panther has been making headlines on his strong play during the preseason Chicago Bears games, also earning Player of the Game honors in week one.
