CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa football program was well represented in the first week of preseason games in the National Football League, with seven players earning valuable playing time.
Deiondre' Hall saw action in his first-career NFL game, earning Player of the Game honors after racking up five tackles and two passes defended against the Denver Broncos. The rookie quickly showed that his speed and length would be troublesome for opposing wide receivers, with his two defended passes coming near the end zone, coming up with big plays down the stretch for his team.
