CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The UNI track and field team heads to Columbia, Mo. this weekend to compete at the Tom Botts Invitational, hosted by Mizzou at the Audrey J. Walton Stadium. Competition kicks off on Friday at 3:30 p.m. with the women's hammer throw and women's javelin. Friday's track events are scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. with the women's 1500 meters. Saturday's field events begin at 11:30 a.m. with the men's shot put and women's discus, while track events are slated to start at noon with the women's 4x100-meter relay.

UNI opened the outdoor season on April 3 at the USD Early Bird meet in Vermillion, SD, with three event wins and 32 top-five finishes.
