WAVERLY, Iowa — UNI cross country closed out its September schedule on Saturday morning as select runners competed at Wartburg's Dan Huston Invitational, held at the Max Cross Country Course in Waverly.
Two Panthers from the men's team took it to the course this morning, with freshman Collin Lillie
Placing 67th with a season-best time of 27:24,dropping 45 seconds from his previous 8K race at the Redbird Invite two weeks ago. Caleb Kass, running the first 8K in his collegiate career, ran a time of 29:36 for the Panthers to take home 193rd place.
On the women's side, two women runners competed for UNI on the 6K course.
