HERRE HAUTE, Indiana – The UNI men's basketball team fell to the Sycamores of Indiana State 67-64 on Thursday night. The Panthers now move to 22-5 overall and 11-4 in the MVC.
The Panthers trailed the Sycamore early and Thursday night and trailed 40-23 at halftime. The Panthers went 8-31 from the field in the opening 20 minutes, making just 2 of the teams 14 three point attempts. UNI managed to win the rebounding effort, hauling in 22 rebounds to the Sycamores 19.
The Panther offense had open looks throughout the game but were unable to covert, shooting 26 percent in the first half and 41 percent for the game.
