WATERLOO, Iowa- The University of Northern Iowa womens soccer team remains unbeaten at home this season, defeating Western Illinois 3-0 Sunday afternoon.
The game remained scoreless until the 35th minute, with Brynell Yount making a long solo run down the right side that ended with her beating the keeper. This was the end product of a flurry of 11 total shots from the team in the first half.
It would only take Yount 22 minutes after the half to secure her brace, putting a rebound into the back of the net in the 67th minute.
