The Northern Iowa men's basketball team has continually relied on the state of Minnesota in its recruiting efforts. Monday, the Panthers made another pluck from their northern neighbor.
Nathan Heise, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard from Lake City, Minnesota, committed to UNI via Twitter Monday night. The 2020 prospect reportedly received a Panthers offer earlier this month and quickly pounced on the opportunity.
"I want to thank my family, Coach Berge, the Lake City Community and my AAU coaches for giving me the opportunity to play the sport I love," Heise wrote in his announcement. "I would also like to thank all the coaches that recruited me.
