DES MOINES, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa track and field program capped a successful stint at the 2018 Drake Relays on Saturday, with the Panthers earning top-10 finishes in 12 events.
A total of 31 Panther names were etched in the top-10 on the final day of the Drake Relays, as UNI closed out its four-day stay in Des Moines. With the conclusion of the Drake Relays, the Panthers will have just one more meet before the 2018 MVC Outdoor Championships in Terre Haute, Indiana.
UNI had one team each from the men and women's side place in the top-5 in the 1600 sprint medley relay, with the team of Chyna Watson-Reid, Maddie Irmen, Maddie Bell and Lyndsie Schinkel (4th, 3:52.
