NORMAL, Illinois - The UNI swim and dive team had a successful trip to Illinois over the weekend. After beating Western Illinois 178-57 on Friday, the Panthers defeated Illinois State 174-126 on Saturday. The win over Illinois State was also the Panthers first meet against an MVC opponent this season.
Katie Taylor lead the way for the Panthers with wins in three individual events. Taylor took first in the 200 Free (1:52.91), 100 Free (52.33), and the 200 IM (2:05.06). She was also a part of the first place 200 Medley Relay team.
