CEDAR FALLS, IA – The UNI women's basketball team rolled past the Loyola Ramblers with a 78-51 win on Friday, Feb. 19. The Panthers claimed the win after they held the lead for 99.0% of the game.
UNI held a lead of 12 points over the Ramblers, 25-13 starting the second half but the Ramblers went on a 10-2 run cutting the Panther lead to seven points, 29-22. Cynthia Wolf came in clutch with a layup that restarted the Panther offense, ending the half, 39-28.
The Ramblers challenged the Panthers again with 5:49 left in the third quarter after going on a 9-2 run to cut the Panther lead to 41-39.
