Cedar Falls, Iowa - UNI softball continued to stay hot at the plate when the Panthers hosted in state rival Iowa State Wednesday, April 14, 2021. The Panthers defeated the Cyclones 10-2 in six short innings. UNI now moves to 19-13 overall and extends their win streak to seven games.

The Panthers started off on the scoreboard first after Senior Sammey Bunch hit a leadoff solo home run in the bottom of the 1st inning. Bunch's solo home run pushed her single season home run total to eighteen, which is now a UNI single season record.
