CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The UNI softball team used a grand slam to rally for a split in the second day of the Doc Halverson UNI-Dome Classic.

The Panthers got off to a strong start on Saturday afternoon with a leadoff home run from outfielder Madison Parks to have the early lead. UNI was able to push the lead out to two in the bottom of the second as infielder Taylor Hogan hit a home run of her own into right field.
