EVANSVILLE, Indiana – The UNI softball team took on the Missouri State Bears in MVC semifinal action on Friday afternoon, defeating the Bears 3-2 with the final run scored in the bottom of the 7 inning.

The Bears got on the board first, scoring two runs in the first inning. The Panthers opened the bottom of the innings with a single from and a hard hit double by . pushed Bunch across the plate for the first UNI run of the game.
The pitchers dialed it in for two scoreless innings but the Panthers were able to tie the game when hit an RBI double bringing across the plate.
