CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The UNI women's soccer team had a strong showing on Alumni day against the Illinois State Redbirds, winning in overtime 2-1. The Panthers strong offensive presence in front of the net shined as they bounced back from a tough loss last weekend.
The Panthers had a strong start to the game with a near goal in the first minute when took a shot from the right side of the box that went just wide left of the goal. UNI had another near miss when made a header inside the box that also went wide left.
