Waterloo, IA - The Panthers took on in-state rival, Drake, on Wednesday night for the final game of the regular season. The Panthers won in a hard fought battle 1-0 against the Bulldogs.
In first half action, the Panthers battled the Bulldogs for possession. In the 27th minute of play, Sophia Conant made the perfect cross to Lauren Heinsch to net the only goal of the night.
The second half opened with aggressive play from both teams. Drake had a couple opportunities down field, but the Panther defense was a brick wall.
